To drive revenue growth within the SME Account Management sector, overseeing a growing portfolio of Media Intelligence products and services. Effectively manage a designated territory, meeting or exceeding pre-set revenue and performance-related targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow existing customers within the SME sector, with an estimated portfolio worth approximately £5m.
- Achieve or surpass annual team targets in Media Analysis, Media Monitoring, Media Database, and Social Media for SME accounts.
- Develop and implement a focused sales plan for your territory.
- Maintain a proactive sales culture with consistent client outreach.
- Identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell within existing SME accounts, driving revenue from the full Cision PR product and service portfolio.
- Oversee the effective renewal process for subscriptions and maximize up-sell opportunities.
- Monitor and predict potential revenue downturns, ensuring plans are in place to address any shortfalls.
- Develop account management strategies tailored to client needs, budget, and future potential.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members, ensuring skills development and team performance.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Process-oriented approach to achieving KPIs and meeting revenue goals.
- Experience in managing sales pipelines using Salesforce.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to foster relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused with excellent negotiation skills.
- Results-driven, with a focus on delivering sales growth.
- Experience with tender writing is desirable.
